SMY Transmission Pedal Support Bracket Subaru 2008-2014 WRX / STI

The weak firewall in the BRZ, newer Impreza's, Subaru Foresters, WRXs, and Legacy's has been a known issue for some time now, SMY Transmissions Pedal Support Bracket is the only real solution to this problem without taking apart the dash and welding the firewall. Even at that point, there is a chance of the pedal assembly malfunctioning or breaking.  The Pedal Support Bracket ties the pedal assembly to a thick steel bar behind it to ensure that very little of the firewall is used for pressure during normal clutch and brake use. We have seen these in action, and have also seen the amount of flex and pressure they take off of the firewall. This is an excellent product and we would recommend it to anyone. Install takes about 30-60 minutes and is a huge improvement over stock.  Save your pedal assembly and save a very expensive firewall fix, with a very inexpensive solution!
