MMX Performance MINI F56 Front 2-Piece Floating Rotor Set 355x30mm

The MMX 2-Piece 335mm Floating Front Rotor Set is a direct bolt-on upgrade for MINI Gen 3 F55, F56, and F57 JCW models. Engineered to match the OEM JCW 335mm front rotor diameter, this two-piece design replaces the factory single-piece disc with a true floating rotor that handles repeated heavy braking events without the warping and surface cracking that limit the OEM disc on track or hard road use.

The friction ring is a proprietary high-carbon iron compound machined with MMX's signature directional groove pattern, improving initial bite, evacuating pad gases, and keeping the pad-rotor interface clean lap after lap. The 6061-T6 aircraft-specification aluminium centre hat is CNC-machined and floats on bobbins, allowing the friction ring to expand radially and axially as it heats. Together, that construction is up to 30% more thermally efficient than the OEM JCW disc, translating directly into a more consistent pedal feel deep into braking events and longer rotor life across track-day cycles.

Installation is plug-and-play. The OEM front caliper, hardware, and mounting hub are retained. OEM or aftermarket front pads work with the rotor, no changes required to the rest of the brake system. For F55/F56/F57 JCW owners chasing a more honest brake feel under load (or simply replacing tired OEM rotors with a better-engineered alternative) this is the cleanest direct upgrade available without changing caliper or rotor diameter.
