MMX Performance G8X M3 / M4 Lowering Spring Set

The MMX Performance G8X M3 / M4 Lowering Spring Set is a model-specific spring kit developed to reduce ride height and improve driving dynamics without sacrificing ride quality. Separate spring sets are offered for the G80 / G81 M3 and the G82 / G83 M4, each with its own rear-wheel-drive and xDrive part number.

Ride height reduction differs by model. The G80 / G81 M3 is lowered approximately 35mm at the front and 15mm at the rear. The G82 / G83 M4 is lowered approximately 30mm front and 30mm rear in rear-wheel-drive form, or 25mm front and 20mm rear on xDrive cars.

Spring poundage is developed specifically for each model rather than shared across the platform, and the rates are set to work with the factory dampers, Adaptive M or non-adaptive. This matters when selecting a spring: going lower or stiffer than this set leaves the dampers mismatched to the spring rate and the springs themselves running out of travel.

Lowering the vehicle reduces the center of gravity and the factory wheel arch gap, which is the visual and dynamic change most owners are looking for from a spring kit on this platform.

Each spring is powder coated in MMX Metallic Grey.
