The MMX Performance Panel Air Filter is a simple, cost-effective, and warranty-friendly upgrade for B48-engined BMW F4X and MINI F5X / JCW / GP3 platforms. Designed to drop straight into the OE airbox, this washable, reusable cotton-gauze filter delivers improved airflow, beautiful induction noise, and excellent filtration without changing a single bracket.

By removing the inevitable restrictions imposed by the standard paper element, the MMX panel filter allows a small but worthwhile increase in airflow through to the turbo. Better breathing translates to improved engine efficiency, and the cotton gauze media catches contaminants without choking the intake tract, protecting the engine while letting it perform at its best.

Crucially, this is a no-compromise upgrade. The filter retains the OE airbox, OE intake tubing, and all factory sensor positions, so check-engine lights and warranty concerns simply don't enter the equation. Choose the variant that matches your engine: MMR01-0901 fits the B48E "306HP" applications including F40 M135i, F44 M235i, and the MINI GP3. MMR01-1302 fits the B48 MINI Cooper S / JCW applications. Both deliver the same drop-in performance benefit tuned to their respective intake architecture.
