Engine Torque Arm Insert • MQB/MQBe

During aggressive acceleration, the engine and transmission rotate due to the flexibility of the factory bushings. Although these soft bushings effectively absorb engine vibrations, they can also produce a somewhat soft and imprecise feel in the powertrain’s response. The NEUSPEED Torque Arm Insert enhances the original equipment rubber bushing, resulting in a smoother throttle response and more precise, sharper shifts in both manual and automatic transmissions.

• Version 1 insert into factory mount: 5Q0 198 037 A
• Version 2 inserts into factory mount: 5Q0 198 037 F & 5Q0 199 868 J 

Notes

Confirm your subframe dogbone bushing variant before making a purchase.

Full-length urethane insert to fill the void through both the lower and upper factory torque mounts.

Urethane is not as compliant as rubber. As a result, you may notice a slight increase in engine vibration after installation.
