ROTOR SIZE!! READ!! IMPORTANT!!

The change in rotor size was implemented starting 3/31/2014, meaning if your ST was built after that date, your front rotors are 13.2-inches in diameter. Any STs built before 3/31/14 come with 12.6" rotors.

ROTOR STYLE

Let's start with the basics, do you want Blank, Slotted, or Drilled & Slotted rotors? 

Blanks - these will be the most cost efficient and OEM-like rotor for your setup. You can expect exceptional performance as you would get with your OEM rotors.

Slotted - these slotted rotors offer two distinct benefits under heavy braking: brake fade, from high-temperature brake pad outgassing, can be significantly reduced, allowing gases to escape through the slots; and the grooves shave off thin layers of brake pad material, reducing glazing and improving braking consistency.

Slotted & Drilled - these rotors will offer similar benefits as the slotted rotors, but the drilled holes will accentuate these benefits. Although it should be noted drilled rotors are more prone to cracking than their blank/slotted counterparts.

OK - You've decided on the style of rotor, but what's this E-Line and Geo-carbon non-sense? Don't sweat, it's simple. The E-Line is simply R1 concepts entry level zinc coating to help prevent corrosion. The Geo-carbon series is their premium coating finish which offers improved resistance to corrosion and rust. Both coatings cover the entire rotor and will wear off of the face during the embedding process.

BRAKES PADS

R1 Concepts Optimum OEp pads are an OEM replacement style pad, these are a ceramic compound and will perform similarly to the OEM pads on this car, great for a daily driver application! 

Hawk Ceramic Performance pads are going to be a step up in performance but also offer the great benefits of your ceramic pad, low dust and noise, with great longevity and a bit better heat resistance than your OE style pad.
