BNR ST71

 

The BNR ST71 turbocharger upgrade is intended for cars with auxiliary fuel systems!  This turbo is good for up to around 500 WHP.   This upgrade takes a little longer to spool over the ST67 (300 RPM) but nets around 100 more peak HP when maxed out.  If you anticipate aux fuel system and/or a forged internal engine this turbo would be the best option!

BNR g30-660  Center Housing Rotating Assembly (VSR balanced)
BNR T04B Compressor housing with a 2 bolt inlet (.60 a/r)
BNR 10cm (.72 a/r) exhaust housing
30mm Internal wastegate with heavy duty swing valve assembly
Adjustable internal wastegate with stainless mounting bracket (15 psi is suggested for 91 octane fuel)
BNR Cast iron turbine inlet adapter
BNR Cast iron Turbine outlet adapter
Multi-layer turbine inlet and outlet gaskets (for the BNR housing)
2 bolt aluminum compressor inlet adapter with O ring
Hardware included:

7 M10 1.5 stainless studs
7 M10 1.5 Stainless nuts
7 M10 2mm Stainless washers
1 M10 1.5  Allen head bolt (for turbine outlet adapter)
2 M8 1.25 Stainess 37MM length studs (for compressor inlet adapter)
2 M8 1.25 Stainless flanged nuts
60mm ID/2mm diameter O ring
1 Aluminum oil inlet adapter
1 M12 1.5 Stainless Banjo bolt (oil inlet to adapter)
6 M12 Copper washers (oil inlet)
6 M14 Copper washers (water inlet/outlet)
Upgraded, stainless oil outlet tube with O rings (Comes standard on units purchased after 2/15/2024)

Great Power on a Budget

Honestly I was very hesitant about getting a brand that was not aware of. But after doing much research and talking with Stephanie, I was hooked. Got it installed on the car, had a few snags here and there. Definitely make sure you get an external blow off valve if you do not have one already. Had it made over 350 the wheel before my clutch slipped out, dialed it back and the car is happy. With over 118,000 miles and making over 300 to the wheel this is not a bad deal. very happy with this turbo.

Great while it lasted

Great Spool time, pulled out 400+ WHP no problems on a built ST. But unfortunately it only lasted 4 months/8000kms of normal driving. Didnt even get a chance to give it a hard time, let alone enjoy it. Dont make my mistake, buy a Garrett.

I loved how quick it spooled at first but 2 years later it needs to be replaced. Spend the money for a Garrett so you don't have to buy it later wheb the BNR fails.
