Originally engineered to complement our MRX Turbo Upgrade and to produce a substantial reduction in charge air temps, the mountune MRX Intercooler Upgrade for the Focus ST includes everything you need to optimize the performance of your ST and is the foundation for further power upgrades regardless of turbo size.
Using a 14-row bar and plate alloy core with cast alloy end tanks for improved flow characteristics, the mountune MRX intercooler upgrade gives a substantial reduction in charge air temps with minimal pressure drop, ensuring optimum charge air temperature and therefore greater power. Bar and Plate type intercoolers like our MRX version are perfect for short burst of power such as drag racing, autocross and day to day use providing a quick and massive cooling efficiency.
